Cars & Coffee photography is something I’ve done regularly this year. When engaging with a familiar subject, it’s important to me to keep it feeling fresh & interesting.
What Can We Learn About Cars & Coffee Through Photographing the People?
So this week for Cars & Coffee Photography, I decided to focus on the people looking at the cars. I have some questions I want to answer with photos about the people…
How do they stand in relation to each other?
How do they stand in relation to the cars?
What is their body language?
What do they wear?
How do they interact with the cars? Looking and/or photographing.
Who is there with them? Kids, spouses, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, dogs.
Something New Every Time
Finding a focus within a larger event is a great way to be sure I’m finding something different than what I’ve done in the past.
This is one of the reasons my clients have me out to photograph the same events every year: I’m always able to find something fresh and a new angle on the story.
